Swedish born European Travel Specialist
Born and raised in Sweden I took my first trip to Spain before I had turned 2 years old. My parents love to travel so I realized early on what I wanted to do in life. I studied Tourism in College in Sweden. In 1992 I started working as a Travel Agent but after a few months, I got a job at the airport for a Swedish airline working as a guest service agent which included checking in passenger, gate service and ticketing and sales. From there I moved on to working as a Flight attendant for 12 years which afforded me the opportunity to visit most of the countries in Europe.
I came to the US in 2004, got married and we had our daughter in 2005. After spending a few years home raising my daughter I decided it is time to get back into the travel industry again. I’ve been working as a Travel Consultant for more than 5 years now expertly crafting itineraries for my client to allow them to experience new cultures and learn a little bit about themselves along the way. I always recommend that my client learn a few phrases of the countries they are visiting, and also encourage them to try local cuisine while they travel. I feel this is the best way to connect with people from across the globe and show respect for their culture.
I specialize in planning European vacations since I spent most of my life in this beautiful and historic continent. I also book river cruises, ocean cruises, tours and vacation packages. I have also backpacked to different countries around the world which allowed me to understand the importance of planning and organization, while also giving me the confidence to discover hidden treasures along the way.
For me, travel is a lifestyle that I am passionate about. I love to share my passion with my clients, and hopefully allow them to also fall in love with the adventure that comes with taking the vacation of a lifetime.
